Lee Clark - Candidate for Town Council
Lee has been a champion of Phillipsburg for nearly a decade. He currently serves as a member of the Warren County Local Advisory Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. He is a steering committee member on the NORWESCAP/South Main Street Alliance initiative to revitalize downtown Phillipsburg.
Lee served a four-month appointment on the Phillipsburg Town Council, becoming the first African American Councilman in the town's 160-year history, and served on the Phillipsburg Housing Authority as a Commissioner. Lee works as a public policy manager and community activist with the non-profit environmental sector focusing on New Jersey's low-income and communities of color. As such, Lee recognizes the challenges facing Phillipsburg and will not allow our town to be parceled off and sold piecemeal to outside developers.
